Wow. Thanksgiving requests are coming in quickly. Do you live in Long Beach / South Bay area? This one is a referral to "For the Child". They need volunteers to help prep and distribute Thanksgiving meals this Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. It's very short notice, but I know they'd appreciate some help.
